I've been going to this location since October 2020 for all of my piercings. Brien (@ jolly_breen_giant) did my helix, two forward helixes, and my second lobes (over multiple visits over the years). He's absolutely lovely and was always great about giving me realistic expectations about what was possible with my ear anatomy (which is the sign of a good piercer). He did not do a piercing he thought I would not be able to heal, but he did let me take a chance on the upper forward helix that he was iffy about because he said that it was up to me if I wanted to take a chance. Brien walked such a great line between letting me decide what I wanted on my body and informing me when my ideas just weren't realistic. I ended up having him remove that upper forward helix after a hair dresser nearly ripped it out & he made it as nice of an experience as you can have when taking out a piercing that you loved. And he did it all without triggering my Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria and making me feel bad for wasting his time—which is a testament to his "bedside manner" for lack of a better phrase. I recommend him so much! I just returned to this location recently for a conch piercing in my right ear and had Mia (@daithduchess) as my piercer for the first time after loving what I saw of her work on Instagram. As great as she seemed online, I have to admit that she was even more delightful in person. She's SUCH a sweetheart! I have some trauma that affects the way I experience things like piercings & I didn't even have to say a word for her to provide a trauma-informed experience. Mia put me so crazy at ease that I'm already planning out my next visit when I am healed enough to see her again. As I was laying there & she was getting things ready for me, she REPEATEDLY assured me that I just needed to say the word and all of this would stop. The way that she said that & kept checking in with me just made me feel so unbelievably safe and like I could have asked her to stop and she wouldn't have let me feel bad about it. I didn't get the chance to feel anxious and she let me chat her ears off about my cats, reading, and whatever else my ADHD made me feel like I *had* to tell her about. And I never felt like a nuisance. I am forever grateful to have only had such amazing experiences with both of the piercers that I've seen here. You could not go wrong seeing either. Brien was always so calm and chill even when things were a little bonkers in the pandemic era & I'd recommend him for anyone who wants a friendly, but quieter piercer—although he handled my ADHD chatter like a pro & didn't ever make me feel like he wanted me to shut up. Mia was so warm and soothing and my neurodivergent self loved that she could keep up with my unending chatter. I'd recommend seeing Mia if you want the extra affirmations of your power in the situation. I only prefer her because she immediately seemed to know what I needed from her even when I didn't know I needed that level of constant affirmation and checking in with me. They're both genuine gems & you cannot go wrong with either. I'd check their Instagrams and/or message if you want to make sure they're working when you go.

My 14 year old wanted her ears pierced for her first time. Brien gave her such a good experience. He made sure the placement was perfect and talked her through all of it. Super nice dude! If she ever wants more piercings we will be coming back to Atomic Tattoo.

Jose is the best!!! This is my 3rd and 4th tattoo with him and he was the only choice for an artist to give my son his very first tattoo. We can't wait to come back for more!

Brien did our daughter’s ear piercing. He was great! Explained the process every step of the way, was careful to make sure the holes were even and was calm and reassuring. Highly recommend, especially for kids!
